Another year is gone. We had our annual New Year Party at the clubhouse.
The music was good and the food too.
I danced a few times, even with the bad back. I have to get that under control.
Monday I have another session with the physical therapist.

Camino Hills New Year Party 2010

Another year is gone. We had our annual New Year Party at the clubhouse.
The music was good and the food too.

Convair Tooling Group Christmas Luncheon 2010

Today we had our annual after Christmas get together.
There were not only tool designers and tool builders. Some of us Manufacturing Engineers, who worked with the group, like to attend too.
Getting to Santee was not easy today. The last few weeks we are getting a lot of rain and today it really came down. We took it easy and kept a good distance from the car in front of us. The windshield wipers are finding out what they are there for.
It was fun to see some of the old guys.
I picked up a bowl of soup and while sitting down the soup ended up in my lap. This was not a good feeling.
That was the first time it happened to me, and I hope it never will again.
Old men probably should have a spare pair of pants in the trunk of the car.

Christmas 2010
This year we had a small Christmas celebration.
Instead of 22 people, members of the family and friends, it was only five.
We had it at the house of Doreen's son and daughter in law.
Doreen's daughter Sandra brought the cooked turkey and Doreen brought the trifle.
It was of course a British Christmas with crackers and the funny party hats.

Convair Alumni Christmas Dinner Dance 2010

I probably gained another five pounds today.
We attended the annual Convair Alumni Christmas Dinner Dance at the Bahia Resort in San Diego's Mission Bay.
The ball room was filled with ex Convair employees and their spouses and significant others.
The food is always good and the music was good too.
Because of my bad back I danced only four times, it was still fun to be with some of my friends.

San Diego Gay Men's Chorus Holiday Concert

The Gay Men Chorus had another hit with their Hollywood Style Holiday Concert.
The Birch North Park Theatre was sold out yesterday and today.
There were about 100 singers on stage and the performance was fantastic.
The skits were funny and colorful.
The aluminum Christmas tree skit was hilarious.

Camino Hills Christmas Breakfast 2010

Today we had our monthly Saturday breakfast at the club house.
I was one of the cooks, cooking the french toast, pan cakes and hash brown potatoes.
My back is still killing me, but I did not want to miss this get together with my neighbors at Camino Hills.
I have pain in the kidney area. Since it is not the kidney, the doctor told me it must be a muscle problem. I am on pain killers, but still have pains.

Convair Camping Club Christmas Luncheon 2010

Today we enjoyed our first Christmas Luncheon of the season.
The group got together at the Seven Seas restaurant at the Hotel Circle in San Diego.
Doreen and I had a delicious salmon dinner.
There was plenty of time to socialize. We had not seen members of this club for three months.
